Agreement
By using https://www.kwikjamestown.com or hiring Kwik Plumbing and Heating Inc. (“Kwik Plumbing & Heating,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or hire us for service.
Service area and scope
We provide licensed plumbing and heating services to residential and small commercial properties in Jamestown and the surrounding Rhode Island area, including Newport, Middletown, North Kingstown and Saunderstown. All work is performed by Rhode Island Master Plumber-licensed technicians under RI Master Plumber License #MP-6247.
Estimates and quotes
Estimates given over the phone are good-faith approximations based on the information you provide. Written quotes given on-site are firm for the work described. Any change in scope — additional fixtures, hidden damage discovered when walls are opened, code-required upgrades — will be quoted separately and approved by you before the additional work begins.
Scheduling and cancellation
We make every effort to arrive within the scheduled window. Severe weather, traffic on the Pell or Jamestown bridges, or genuine emergencies elsewhere can occasionally delay arrival; we'll call as soon as we know. You may cancel a non-emergency appointment at any time before our technician is dispatched without charge. Same-day cancellations after dispatch may incur a trip charge.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless other arrangements are made in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Past-due balances may incur interest at the maximum rate permitted by Rhode Island law.
Warranty
Our workmanship is warranted for one year from the date of service. Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment are passed through to you on the manufacturer's terms. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, freezing, corrosion from undiagnosed water-quality problems, or alterations made by others after our work.
Permits and code compliance
Where Rhode Island plumbing or gas code requires a permit, we pull the permit and schedule the inspection. The permit fee is included in the quote unless stated otherwise.
Liability
We carry general liability and worker's compensation insurance as required by Rhode Island law. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific work in dispute. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including lost time, lost income, or damage to personal property unrelated to the work.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Rhode Island.
